Church Tithe
At its 2007 session, the Rocky Mountain Conference adopted a
"Church Tithe" method of sharing resources for the good
of the world and the Conference.
Reports of the Church Tithe

The Conference Treasurer’s Office reports June Tithing income of
$364,886 based on May receipts in local churches. A detailed Tithing
report, by church, is available for your information on the RMCUMC.org
web site,
under Resources, Finances (http://rmcumc.org/CR/Finance/index.htm#tithe).
The graph reflects Conference-wide church giving comparisons to
last year 2007. Total
year-to-date giving is $388,598 less than last year through June.
The Conference Treasurer provides the following clarification regarding
the Capital Campaign Income Deduction found on Line B of the Church
Remittance Form (http://rmcumc.org/CR/Finance/index.htm#titheform).
Include in the Deduction
Funds designated to the church by a donor(s) for a large capital
campaign to pay for building construction.
Funds designated to the church by a donor(s) for a large capital
campaign to retire significant church-wide debt.
Do NOT Include in this Deduction
Regular monthly mortgage payments.
Normal donations to general operations, repairs and building maintenance
or other capital needs where the repair/project is less than 10% (as defined
in the Book of Discipline) in relation to the total property value.

remitting the tithe.
Note: If your computer has an Excel-compatible spreadsheet installed, the
best way to work with this form is to save it to your computer (Desktop
is a good place). Then open the form on your computer and complete it with
the figures for the month for which you are reporting. Save the form, print
it out, and send it with your check.
