Church and Society Network: Advocating for Peace with Justice committee members are always available to any and all entities of the church community as advocates -- and as a networking resources -- for learning and teaching about issues concerning justice. Varied educational programs are available for your local church or small group. We may speak to the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church, restorative justice, economic or environmental issues, and militarism.
Peace with Justice Intern Kimberly Prince is also available to present an educational program on her recent trip to Israel and Palestine, including conditions in the occupied West Bank. Other committee members recently visited Okinawa to learn more of the injustices caused by American military presence there.
