Hotel Information
The retreat will be at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, CO. To make your hotel reservation please call 1-800-525-2253 and identify yourself as part of the “ROCKY MOUNTAIN CONFERENCE OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH” group. The group discount will apply to all reservations made before Friday , October 3, 2014. After this date, rooms will be released from the room block. The hotel will continue to accept reservations after that date at the prevailing room rate, subject to availability.

Keynote Speaker
This year our keynote speaker will be Bishop Robert Schnase, who serves as episcopal leader of the Missouri Conference of The UMC. Bishop Schnase is the author of the bestselling books Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations, Five Practices of Fruitful Living, Practicing Extravagant Generosity, and Seven Levers: Missional Strategies for Conferences. Before his election as bishop, Schnase served for fifteen years as senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in McAllen, Texas. He has also served in Harlingen, Texas and in Great Britain. Bishop Schnase is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Perkins School of Theology.
