Leadership and Congregational Development Resources

The Rocky Mountain Conference is committed to supporting congregations and leaders in ministry by providing resources, training, and continuing education opportunities. Here is a compiled list of some of the various programs currently being offered in the RMC for leadership and congregational development. This is not an exhaustive list.

Clergy Peer Coaching

Trained pastor-coaches walk alongside a peer clergy leader to help that person grow toward his or her goals in life and ministry. A coach is someone who helps a person move from where they are now to where they want to be, fully recognizing the person who the coach is coaching is the expert in his or her own context.

RIM - Residence in Ministry

The RIM program is required for all persons who entered provisional status in June and who intend to pursue ordination. During the two years of provisional membership, all provisional members are required to attend 4 RIM events. Your participation and presence is expected for the entire event. Each event is worth 2 Continuing Education Units.
