RE:Igniting our Faith – Ignite 2015 Senior High Retreat – Nov. 6-8, 2015 – Buckhorn United Methodist Camp

RE:Ignite your faith at Ignite 2015! All Senior High youth grades 9-12 are invited to Buckhorn Camp for a weekend of faith and fellowship, Nov. 6-8, 2015. The Ignite Core Team has been working hard to plan a great weekend away for everyone. Our speaker is Rev. Roger Wolsey, the Director and Pastor of the Wesley Foundation at CU Boulder. He will share his thoughts on progressive Christianity – how the church moves forward in a world of continual change.
There will be workshops, worship, music and singing – provided by Forrest Barclay and the Band. Enjoy the games and activities at Buckhorn Camp in your free time or just hang out with friends.
Cost for Ignite 2015 is $125 if registered by Oct. 19 and $150 after that date. Orders for T-shirts must be received by Oct. 19 as well. Registration is online and will be done by church groups.
Safe Sanctuary Policy: Ignite 2015 follows Safe Sanctuary Policies. Each church must bring one adult for every 5 youth attending. If your group brings girls and boys there must be male and female adult leaders attending as well. Please contact Ann Kessler (details below) with questions.
Registration: Adult group leaders or youth directors will sign up their churches and participants using the following instructions:
Step 1 – Download the registration form for your youth to fill out. Youth leaders will use these forms to register youth online (see Step 2). Youth leaders must bring these forms to the event with you. Upon arrival, the adult leader or youth director must turn in a completed registration form for each youth and adult attending the event. Individuals without signed, completed forms will not be able to stay at the event.

Youth gather for annual leadership conference
Fifty-two youth and adults gathered together at Rainbow Trail Camp for Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) 2015 - a weekend of legislation, worship, faith formation, mission and service, and fun. The theme for the weekend, held Jan. 23 to 25, was “The Bare Necessities” and focused on the scripture “Do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God."
